Beautiful Angel is 7 years young and finds herself looking for her forever home due to a marriage breakdown. This girl is pedigree papered, her breeder cannot take her back, and her family no longer have any time for her. Angel’s world is about to be turned upside down, she is desperately seeking a forever family that will be dedicated to her no matter what.

Angel may be entering her senior years, and has started to go a little grey, but don’t let this fool you… this gorgeous girl has plenty of living left to do, she is an active girl that LOVES to play and will even break out in zoomies every now and then. Angel is looking for an active family that will take her on plenty of adventures, she hasn’t been walked much lately and gets very excited when she does get to go out.

Angel adores everyone she meets, especially if they have treats or will play with her, Angel enjoys a pat and is generally pretty calm, she can get excited during play time or on first meeting new people, but quickly calms down. Angel doesn’t have experience with very young children, she would likely try to play with them. With supervision and management of both Angel and children, we feel that Angel would suit most family dynamics and could live with children that are ’large-dog savvy’.

Angel is not currently allowed inside, she spends her days waiting in the backyard for someone to come out and give her attention, Angel would love to be allowed inside to sleep and hang out with her family, she is a people dog and just wants to be wherever you are, she would enjoy having someone home often.

Angel attended regular obedience when she was younger and knows her basic commands, however they could do with some polishing up. Angel loves engaging with her people and is keen to please, training sessions at home will not only remind her of all she has previously learned, but also keep her quick mind working and having fun!

Angel hasn’t met many other dogs recently; she can be a little selective with who she gets on with and will initially pull towards and give small high-pitched barks at other dogs out of frustration. When slowly introduced to a male German Shepherd, Angel was able to calm right down and happily interact with him, she just needed time and reassurance.
Angel may be ok living a large-breed male dog after an introduction, she would also be very happy as the one and only dog in her new home. Angel will need to slowly work on her initial greetings with other dogs in her new home to make up for her lack of exposure recently.

Angel is very curious about cats and enjoys chasing rabbits and birds, we would suggest a home without small pets or cats would be most suitable.

Angel is a dream girl that will slot right into her forever family with ease, this girl will wiggle her way into your heart and provide the companionship and stability of an older wise dog, whilst still being active and playful with lots of life left to live, she really is at the perfect age!
