Just over 3.5 years ago, a good friend of mine called and asked for help with a 5 month old pup with a heart condition. She brought him over and asked me to foster him. He was a frightened little boy and my 10yo GSD walked over to him, had a sniff and laid down beside the pup. From that moment I thought it was up to us to help this pup out. Time flew by! The pup was my first foster and I couldn't let him go, so he also became my first foster fail! I continued to foster numerous dogs and 4 years on, and another 5 month old pup became my second foster fail! I now have four GSD's that help to make the foster dogs transition seamlessly into being ready for their new home and life. Love this breed, and love helping the foster dogs along their journey.
