Cash

DO YOU NEED A SPLASH OF CASH?

Meet 9-month-old Cash, a male German Shepherd who is as enthusiastic about life as he is handsome. This gorgeous boy found himself in the pound due to no fault of his own; after spending some time in foster care, he is now ready to find his forever home!

Cash is a big puppy who loves life and wants to make friends with everyone and everything; he is friendly and outgoing and is all about his humans, wanting to be wherever they are. Cash is a loyal German Shadow that is looking for a family that will include him in their daily lives.

Cash is still learning boundaries and manners, whilst he listens most of the time, he is a pup and sometimes excitement takes over and his listening ears and impulse control temporarily switches off. Cash can be a little boisterous and will jump up when he is over-aroused, he has tested well with a toddler under strict supervision. Cash may be able to live with dog savvy kids in his new home, he would need supervision and firm boundaries put in place so that he can learn what behaviours are not acceptable.

Cash is an active, lively boy that will need plenty of exercise, play time, training and brain games to keep him fulfilled and out of mischief. Cash loves playing with all sorts of toys and is also motivated by food, he is easy to train and engage and will do well with someone who is ready to put the time and effort into him to ensure he matures into a well-rounded, happy dog.

Cash enjoys the company of other dogs both big and small, he can be a little unsure at first but with a proper introduction he does well at reading others cues and will adjust his behaviour. Cash is currently in foster care with multiple dogs and enjoys playing with the young dogs and hanging out calmly with the older ones, he would do well with a dog friend in his new home but would also be ok on his own if he has someone home often.

Cash has been curious around cats and able to say hello, sometimes his puppy excitement takes over, but is easily called away and distracted when he is getting to be too much. With careful introductions and separation, he may be ok living with a confident cat. Cash has seen livestock and chickens through a fence and didn’t pay them too much attention.

This boy is entering the teenage phase, where he will test boundaries, talk back, and be extremely cheeky, he needs someone willing to put in the training and effort now, which matched with his incredible friendly temperament, will allow him to grow into the most amazing companion.
