Dior

Beautiful Dior is the dream dog, she is sweet, playful, curious and calm, we cannot fault this beautiful dog, how she ended up in the pound is something we will never know.

Dior has a fused back leg, she is living with a fractured knee cap that is dislocating due to an old traumatic injury; her knee joint connecting the 2 bones in her leg is permanently locked, meaning she cannot bend her leg correctly. Dior has seen a specialist and doesn’t need any medical intervention, she is not in any pain and her locked in leg doesn’t stop her from living life to the fullest. The only thing Dior struggles with is stairs, she isn't very confident, but she is improving everyday!

Dior is a good girl who is well behaved in the house, she sleeps peacefully in her bed, but will also jump onto the human bed for a cuddle too! Dior is used to having someone around often, she loves human companionship and is friendly to everyone she meets. Dior would love to have her humans at home or go to work with them, she has been fine on her own but is a social butterfly and loves getting out and about.

Dior loves everyone she meets, however can be a little overwhelmed by young, noisy children, whilst she would be fine with visiting kids, she is looking for a home where everyone is over the age of 5 years old.

Dior can initially be a little frustrated with other dogs, however once given a proper introduction she is fairly neutral around them, she does like to play and has been known to burst into a zoomie when another dog wants to play.
Dior may like to live with a male dog in her new home, she would also be fine as the only pet, she hasn’t been tested with cats or other small pets.
